Best Forex EA 2026: Expert Advisors Compared by Drawdown
Every best forex EA 2026 list ranks by profit, so this one does the opposite: it ranks by the deepest drawdown each vendor has actually published, names the source and the date of each figure, and says which accounts are real and which are not.

The list, sorted by drawdown
Each row is the deepest drawdown that vendor publishes, with the date the page was read. The account column matters more than the number: a simulation and a verified account are not the same evidence.
The two Kestrel rows are measured against the capital each portfolio recommends — the base used everywhere on this site; the other rows are whatever base that vendor’s account page reports.
| Expert advisor | Deepest published drawdown | Account | Source and date |
|---|---|---|---|
| Ultimate Breakout System | 3.6% equity, 11.0% balance | Real, 19 weeks | MQL5 signal, 18 Sep 2026 |
| Goldtrade Pro | 12.2% equity, 32.0% balance | Real, 154 weeks | MQL5 signal, 18 Sep 2026 |
| Kestrel, Full portfolio | 14.3% of the recommended capital | Simulated, fixed lot, 16 years | Own backtest 2010 – Sep 2026 |
| Forex Flex EA | 25.8% to 85.0%, nine accounts | Real | Myfxbook, 26 Sep 2025 |
| Quantum Queen | 31.0% equity, 11.2% balance | Real | MQL5 signal, 18 Sep 2026 |
| Kestrel, EURUSD Patient | 31.0% of the recommended capital | Simulated, fixed lot, 16 years | Own backtest 2010–2025 |
| Quantum Emperor | 31.1% equity, 17.6% balance | Real | MQL5 signal, 18 Sep 2026 |
| Forex Fury | 43% to 52% | Demo only | Myfxbook, 29 Aug 2025 |
| Waka Waka | 66.54% | Real, verified, since 2018 | Myfxbook, 6 Dec 2025 |
Where Kestrel does not win
Both Kestrel rows are simulations and every other row is an account somebody ran, so neither position is earned yet. Goldtrade Pro spent three years with no deposits or withdrawals and multiplied its account by 7.4 with a 12.2% equity drawdown — a cleaner record than anything we can show today.
Waka Waka has the deepest drawdown in the table and also the longest verified history, since 2018. A 66% fall is survivable if the account was sized for it, which is the argument this whole site is built on.
The two Kestrel rows also show why the base matters: the configuration that trades the most, the Full portfolio, has the shallower drawdown of the two once each is measured against the capital it actually assumes.
What is not in the list, and why
Only vendors whose own account pages could be read on a stated date are listed. Two that people ask about are missing, for reasons worth knowing.
- Night Signal Pro: its three MQL5 signals returned a 404 when read on 18 September 2026. A vendor who deletes their own signals is itself a data point.
- Happy Gold: the profile could not be read first-hand, and at least one review reports that the accounts shown are demo. Unverified, so unlisted.
Forex Fury is in the list, but its five visible accounts were demo when the profile was read on 29 August 2025, so its row says so instead of passing for a real record.
How to read any vendor’s numbers
Ask four things of any expert advisor, ours included: whether the account is real, verified and how long it has run; the deepest fall with its date, not an average; the deposits and withdrawals behind any growth percentage; and the account size the settings assume. Kestrel answers the last one with a table per portfolio and level — the only one of the four a simulation can answer honestly.
Reviews
[DATO NEGOCIO: reseñas reales de clientes de Kestrel — plataforma, número y fecha; hasta que existan no se publica ninguna]
We do not quote reviews of the competitors either: the numbers above come from the vendors’ own account pages, not from review sites. The two brands people ask about most have their own page: Forex Fury vs Kestrel Expert Advisor and Waka Waka EA vs Kestrel Grid Expert Advisor.
If you pick Kestrel after reading the table: Kestrel is a grid expert advisor for MetaTrader 4 — what that means, in full, is on Kestrel Grid EA for MT4: Expert Advisor With Controlled Lots — and you choose your pairs (1 to 4 of EURUSD, GBPUSD, EURCAD and AUDCAD), then Patient, Active or both for each (Patient adds to a basket less often and holds a smaller worst case; Active adds more often, returned more in the backtest and reached a larger worst case), and the level whose recommended capital fits your account — Horizon €999, Summit €4,999 or Zenith €9,999 per year, VAT included. Like the kestrel that hangs still in the wind, the choice is deliberate: sized first, bought second.
Frequently asked questions
Why compare expert advisors by drawdown instead of profit?
Because growth percentages are not comparable between accounts that take deposits and withdrawals, while the deepest fall of an account is readable whatever was paid in or out. Drawdown is also the number that informs the recommended capital for an account.
Is a backtest drawdown comparable to a real account drawdown?
No, and the table says which is which. A backtest is run by the vendor on data the vendor chose; a verified account is read from the broker by a third party. Kestrel only has the first kind so far.
Where do the competitor figures come from?
From the vendors' own public pages: Myfxbook profiles and MQL5 signals, each read on the date given in the table. Review blogs were used only to find the accounts, never as a source of numbers.
